You only need the rf switch with the uh8-rf if you require a wireless boiler signal. The rf switch would be installed next to the boiler and get the signal via rf link from the uh8-rf
Do you need a two channel reciever as well as the UH8 RF wiring center when using the slimline RF thermostat
