No this isn’t required for standard wall box mounting.
Is this required to mount the NeoAir to a standard UK backbox ? Wall Plate for neoStat
I have a recessed 35 mm plasterboard backbox that was supposed to be used to mount a standard Neo wired thermostat. Unfortunately, only a twin and earth wire was run so I now need to use a NeoAir.
