Yes you could use other HomeKit switches to place your neoStat into standby mode. You would need to check if the switch has a delay function.
Could the same function of setting zones to standby be achieved with other Homekit contact sensors instead? Wireless Window / Door Contact Sensor
As these sensors do not yet support Homekit, can other Homekit contact sensors be used to achieve the same thing? i.e. setting one or more zones to standby with a delay? And when will Homekit support be added for these sensors?
