Yes you can swap the unit over to this compatible model. You will need to replace the front and back of the thermostat but the floor sensor remains compatible.

I have a pet-r thermostat that appears to be working but the floor isn’t heating. My plan is to swap out the thermo stat to try and fix? Thanks guys!
