We never recommend to control electric floor heating without a floor sensor due to the risk of the floor overheating.
Can you use a wireless air sensor alone and leave the floor probe disconnected? Touchscreen Electric Floor Heating Thermostat - Touch-e v2
I would like to replace an existing Heat mat thermostat with this because the existing floor probe is faulty and i cant replace it, so id like to use this product with a remote air sensor but not the floor probe provided, is that possible? I'd use the remote air sensor to measure air temp in the room rather than using floor temperature.
